We find our go-to lately has been beef (usually leftover from a roast or steak or ground) plus a few random ingredients from the fridge or garden (i.e., noodles, green onions, carrots, garlic, soya sauce, beef broth, sesame seeds, whatever else you have on-hand). Toss it together in 15 minutes and you are in business! Let the kids decide on a shape of noodle or send them to the garden to bring back some veggies. Getting the kids included in meal decisions and contributing seems to make dinner taste better (and saves you from doing everything!!)
