Happy 1st Birthday Ruthie!!!!
We all went out tonight after dinner to share some birthday cheer with our girl Ruthie. Ruthie is Rhonda’s calf from last year and it was pretty apparent right away that she was a mini-Rhonda in personality and would need a name and a forever spot in the herd. Ian and I were there when she was born and I was even late to a wedding shower (sorry Cara!). We have lots of wonderful memories and photos of Ruthie over the past year and my how she has certainly grown!!!
Ruthie posed for a few pictures with our family and even let me get a few pics of her wearing the birthday sash. Then we let her roam around munching grass on the “no cow side” while we filled the water tank for the chickens and the boys did some hay bale hopping. I think if you are a cow that’s a pretty good way to spend your birthday
