Yesterday we picked up from the butcher the first batch of our delicious pasture-raised chickens. Raised without antibiotics and no growth hormones. We cared for these chickens in the shelter of our “chicken-tractor” where we moved them twice a day so they had clean, fresh grass, feed, water and lots of bugs to devour (their favourites).
We always welcome visitors to come see our farm and how we operate and care for the animals. Questions are always encouraged.
We have put some of the new chicken inventory on the website and in our farm store. We have whole, half and quarter chickens available as well as a few bags of chicken feet (which are superb in bone broth or dehydrated as dog treats for a few suggestions….although they do look kinda creepy lol).
