Taking ‘Bob the Christmas Tree’ For A Winter Walk

I think the secret to thriving in a Canadian winter is to make sure you are able to get outside and have some fun! Last weekend was absolutely gorgeous with full days of sunshine and mild temperatures so we were outside most of the weekend enjoying ourselves☀️

First we found the remnants of our Christmas tree (named “Bob”) we gave to the cows to play with. Next we all went for a big family walk to the back fields, which of course had to include Bob the tree, lol🎄

On Sunday, Jack and I had a fun time doing some cross-country skiing at the back. It’s an activity I loved to do with my Nana as a kid, and it’s nice being able to teach my boys this fun winter activity❤️

Our farm store is open today until 2pm. Although it’s not quite looking as nice outside this weekend as last weekend at least the freezing drizzle has stopped! Maybe this weekend will include making some delicious meals for your family? We have lots of our grass-fed and finished beef and pasture-raised chickens to help with that👍

However you spend your weekend, we hope it’s a good one. Take care everyone!
