We are thrilled to announce we have started our 2023 calving season. Donna had a beautiful and healthy heifer (girl) calf this morning. She insisted on having her calf in the dirt with an audience of curious cows all around.
We will be moving Mama, calfie and a few other pregnant cows to the front nursery field so we can keep a close watch on everyone and they can be tucked into the barn at night. I never get tired of seeing them learn to walk about 20 minutes after they are born, pretty amazing!!
