The 5 acres of sunflowers here on our farm are not just a beautiful sight, but also will serve as feed for the cows and be beneficial for the soil. This is our first year growing sunflowers and so far based on all the bees, insects, birds and wildlife they have attracted it certainly seems to be a success.
We would love to share some beautiful sunflowers for free with anyone that is picking up an online order or purchasing from our farm shop on Friday (12-5) or Saturday (9-2). I think the cows can spare a few 🌻🌻🌻
