Running two herds

Good morning from the cows!

Currently we are running two separate herds but since their paddocks are next to each other they like to greet (and likely complain to) one another each morning. Perhaps they were discussing the storm last night.

We are running two herds because our bull Bruce is now with the main herd working. We have kept some cows apart because they are too young to be bred (Ruthie, Ellen and Pam), we are keeping an eye on them or their calf (MB and Fran), they are very pregnant (Jenny and Megan) or just had a calf (Lily). I got some cute pictures this morning of Lily and her calf that was just born on Tuesday afternoon.

Our farm store is open this afternoon from 3-6pm, Friday from 12-5 and Saturday 9-2. We have our chickens on sale!! Visit the website or stop by to shop and perhaps get to see Lily’s sweet calf❤️
