Nature is amazing and always full of surprises. This tree at the back has looked like this for at least the last 10 years. Every spring we are always shocked when we see the buds and then leaves on the tree. It’s been a favourite back scratcher for the cows, a habitat for scurrying critters, a sanctuary for birds, and certainly brings joy to our family every year we see it’s still somehow alive. Finding the unexpected always makes me smile. Nature perseveres.
